Bexley North Development

Accessible housing led by design

In the heart of Bexley North this planning proposal is an innovative concept designed to help alleviate the housing crisis. A mixed-use development of 92 apartments and 50 hotel rooms aligns to a public domain with gathering spaces and amenities including 3000sqm of new retail. The new development, configured in a stepped built form, is designed to create a sympathetic building scale, that is appropriate in the local context and enhanced landscape. It will build community – acting as a vibrant hub to connect and welcome residents and visitors, and importantly including the much-loved local pub which will be upgraded and restored. This thoughtful balance of the new development with existing landmarks will maintain and enhance the vital sense of community.
