Waterman’s Pavilion
Canopy of light, inspired by history
In a dynamically changing built environment we believe that architects and urban designers need to place the human experience at the centre of a proposal. Our proposed Waterman’s Pavilion is an applied art that strives to go beyond the fundamental act of creating shelter. It draws inspiration from the site’s historic significance and connection to fishing and trade, creating a new landmark encompassing three creative spaces that provide respite and enjoyment under a canopy that is embedded in place while floating lightly above it.
